Wanting to help out the community? Becoming a member of the staff team is the best way to do so.
Read what position you would like, the form template is lower in the thread.
For those reviewing whether the person is good enough for the position, please speak up in their thread. It's better to have too many opinions than a lack of opinions in this scenario.
What positions are needed + What they do
Going in least powerful staff, to most powerful staff.
Staff
Allows you to mute people in chat.
Will not separate you from whichever group you are in. For example, if you're a 'Member' and you are given the 'Staff' role, your name will not display separately from 'Member'. So in a way, the 'Staff' role is invisible.
The Staff role is mainly a role that helps control the chat. If there aren't any moderators online, the Staff will be there to monitor the chat.
Moderator
Allows you to mute people in chat.
Allows you to kick people.
Allows you to mention everybody.
Role is displayed separately.
An ideal Moderator would take part in the community. Whether that's starting a voice chat party, hosting an event etc. Though Moderators are more powerful than Staff, and therefore require more trust within the community.
Moderators will not put themselves above others, that's just annoying.
Administrator
Can literally do everything.
Requires a LOT of trust within the community.
Administrators not only monitor the server with full authority, but an Ideal Administrator takes part in the community just like the moderator but it's more demanded for Administrators.
